| ...started tango in the San Diego area in the mid 90's and has studied extensively with Metin Yazir, Gustavo and Giselle, and Andrea and Leandro. Initially promoting week-night practicas and milongas, he and Mike Markov started their own milonga, Sin Nombre, in Encinitas, where it ran successfully for 8 (?) years, providing instruction and social atmosphere and hosting top performers in both music and dance. | ||

Chris dances avidly several nights a week and studies
with as many teachers as he can afford.
He presided over the UCSD Tango Club from 2005-2006,
and now happily enjoys its growth due to the tutelage of
its subsequent leaders, Liz Gire and Justin Ma.
